Refrigerators fail in a handful of predictable ways: electrical faults that stop the compressor starting, airflow and defrost faults that starve one compartment, sealed-system faults where refrigerant leaks out, and hygiene problems that make a working fridge unusable. We organised our services the same way.
Electrical and mechanical repairs on every type of household refrigerator. We test first, explain the fault, and quote before replacing anything.
A complete strip-down clean that removes odour, mould and bacteria from the places a cloth can’t reach — plus condenser coil cleaning for better efficiency.
Leak detection and repair, refrigerant recharge by weight, and compressor or filter-drier replacement using correctly matched parts.

Fridge types
Direct-cool fridges — the single- and double-door models common in Bangladeshi homes, with a manual or semi-automatic defrost. Faults are usually thermostats, relays, gaskets or gas leaks in the evaporator.
No-frost (frost-free) fridges — these use a fan, a defrost heater and a timer or control board. When one part fails, the freezer often keeps working while the fridge compartment warms up.
Inverter fridges — variable-speed compressors controlled by an electronic board. They save electricity but need proper diagnosis with the manufacturer’s error codes rather than trial-and-error part swaps.
Side-by-side and French-door models — larger no-frost fridges with multiple fans, dampers and sometimes water dispensers and ice makers.
Chest and upright freezers — simple but hard-working machines where condenser cleanliness and door sealing make a big difference to running cost.

What arrives with the technician
A good diagnosis depends on measurements. Every Elite Fridge Care technician carries a clamp meter and multimeter for electrical testing, a digital thermometer with probes for compartment and pipe temperatures, a manifold gauge set and vacuum pump for sealed-system work, a portable brazing kit, and an electronic leak detector.
The van also carries the parts that fail most often — relays and overloads, thermostats for common brands, universal fan motors, defrost heaters and filter-driers — so that most repairs can be completed on the first visit.
Good to know
A fridge doesn’t consume refrigerant. If it’s low, it’s leaking. We fix the leak first, every time.
You approve the written quote before any part is fitted. If we find something new halfway, we stop and ask.
We don’t sell refrigerators, so we have no reason to talk you out of a sensible repair.
